Our Mindful Monday’s Yoga & Ayurveda Wellbeing Course will help you to prepare for a positive, healthy and vibrant week ahead.

Over the course of 8 weeks, we will guide you to manage your mental health by using simple and effective techniques that alleviate common complaints such as anxiety, stress, depression and social isolation.

You will learn to be more mindful in daily life, reduce stress and boost energy levels, increasing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Mindfulness is an ancient Buddhist practice that teaches us to live in the present moment with awareness of the Self. It’s a simple concept offering practical ways to notice thoughts, feelings & sensations that arise within us so we can manage them without being overwhelmed.

Mindfulness is a great way to improve mental wellbeing and benefits everyone of all ages; it’s a life-changing practice.

Yoga, meditation and breathing are wonderful ways to bring more mindfulness into our lives. This course will empower you with all the tools you need to reclaim your health and wellbeing to live a healthy and happy life.

Learn how to effectively restore balance in the mind-body-spirit connection using mindfulness, yoga and Ayurveda.

Mindfulness allows us to gain perspective on every experience we have. With practice, it is possible to observe thoughts from a detached awareness and look at them objectively.

Yoga helps us to find inner peace, contentment and happiness by detaching from the external world and looking inside. It teaches us to rise above toxic fear-based energies of the mind and to open up to higher awareness.

Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga; it teaches us how to live in balance and harmony with nature, the seasons and our environment so we can restore balance in our body, mind and spirit.

Mindful Mondays email will include mindfulness techniques and a weekly yoga video that you can practice every day at a time that suits you (I recommend first thing to start your day with optimum energy and positive vibes).

Wellbeing Wednesdays email will inspire you with the ancient wisdom of yoga to restore balance in your body, mind and spirit.

Feel Good Fridays email will empower you to make changes in your life to stay in tune with nature, the season and environment by incorporating the healing power of Ayurveda into your daily life.

Yoga for Well-being & Healing - The course will consist of a weekly yoga class designed specifically for boosting mental wellbeing. Yoga increases energy levels and positive vibrations in the body and mind. A daily yoga practice harmonizes all systems in the body and helps to keep the mind calm, peaceful and positive. You will be encouraged to practice every day to maintain your energy levels and inner peace. The yoga video will also be posted in the Facebook group every Monday morning to encourage interaction with participants for moral support and encouragement.

Ayurvedic Cooking Workshop & Recipes - These workshops will change the way you think about preparing meals! You are going to love learning how to apply mindfulness in the kitchen making mealtimes fun and enjoyable, whether you are cooking for one or many! You will receive an abundance of Ayurvedic recipes that will tantalize your taste buds and nourish your soul.

Nutritional therapy is key to mental health and well-being.

Our food choices affect the way we think and feel. Every time we choose to prepare a healthy meal with love, we are creating healthy impressions in the mind. This leads to positive mental health and healing of the body, mind and spirit.

Community Support – Connect with us in the private Facebook group. We hold a safe space where you can openly talk about your experiences, ask questions and connect with like-minded people on the same journey. This is a good opportunity to share what's working for you on the course and to bring up any challenges you may be facing so we can help you overcome them. Sharing your experiences, thoughts and feelings is great for self-development, increasing confidence, bonding, relationship building and spiritual growth.

During the course I will share with you my own yoga journey and how by incorporating a daily yoga practice and adopting positive intentions and a healthy diet, I was able to recover from being in chronic pain as a result of a broken back. Also, my daily practice helps me to remain well after living my whole life struggling with severe depression. It is hoped by sharing my personal journey it will help to break down barrier, reduce stigma and foster an open environment for participants to improve their mental and psychological wellbeing.

During the 8 week course participants will begin to understand the importance of developing a positive frame of mind. Positive intentions help us to rewire the brain, altering the chemistry in the body and mind, positively effecting moods and energy levels.
