This empowering course will transform your life by teaching you how to live an ayurvedic yoga lifestyle in accordance with your unique mind-body type, the seasons and cycles of life.

Our Mindful Monday’s Yoga & Ayurveda Wellbeing Course will help you to prepare for a positive, healthy and vibrant week ahead.

Over the course of 8 weeks, we will guide you to manage your mental health by using simple and effective techniques that alleviate common complaints such as anxiety, stress, depression and social isolation.

Participants will learn how to be more mindful in daily life, reduce stress and boost energy levels increasing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Mindfulness allows us to gain perspective on every experience we have. With practice, it is possible to observe thoughts from a detached awareness and look at our thoughts objectively.

Yoga encourages positive thinking and teaches us how to understand the mind so we can control reactions around our thoughts and feelings, changing old belief systems and past conditioning to create a positive and peaceful state of mind. True happiness can only be found within ourselves. Yoga helps us to find inner peace, contentment and happiness by detaching from the external world and looking inside. It teaches us to rise above toxic fear based energies of the mind and to open up to higher awareness.

Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga, it teaches us how to live in balance and harmony with nature, the seasons and our environment so we can restore balance in our body, mind and spirit.

Over the course of 8 weeks, you will learn how to be more mindful in your daily life, reduce stress and increase positive mental energy.

  • Learn basic yoga poses, breathing and relaxation techniques to improve your health and overall well-being.
  • Boost your energy levels and vitality.
  • Increase strength and flexibility in body and mind.
  • Build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Learn how to heal your body and mind naturally with simple, effective techniques.

Learn how to cook healthy nutritious meals on a budget!

  • Learn the health benefits of different herbs and spices.
  • Learn how to grow your own herb and vegetable garden in your home.
  • Learn how to eat for your unique mind-body type.

We are all unique and each of us require a different nutrition plan depending on our unique mind-body type.

Ayurveda teaches us what foods are right for each individual so we can tailor food choices to suit constitution and lifestyle. Each participant on the course will learn their unique mind-body type and how to eat for their personal constitution to stay in balance and avoid illness.

Mindful Monday’s 11.00 – 2.00pm Starting 20th April 2020

I wasn’t able to do this pose before I broke my back. Now look at me! I’m fitter, stronger, healthier and happier than ever, and it’s all down to living an Ayurvedic yoga lifestyle!

Anything is possible when you believe!

11am Sharing circle – Each weekly session will begin with a sharing circle so you can talk about your issues and share with the group how you are getting on implementing what you are learning on the course into your daily life. This is a good opportunity to share what’s working for you on the course and to bring up any challenges you may be facing so we can help you overcome them. Sharing circles are also great for self-development, increasing confidence, bonding and relationship building.

11.30am – Yoga for Well-being & Healing – The course will consist of a weekly yoga class designed specifically for boosting mental wellbeing. Yoga increases energy levels and positive vibrations in the body and mind. A daily yoga practice harmonizes all systems in the body and helps to keep the mind calm, peaceful and positive. You will be encouraged to practice every day to maintain your energy levels and inner peace.

12.15 – 1.45pm – Practical Ayurvedic Cooking Workshop & Lunch – These workshops will change the way you think about preparing meals! You are going to love learning how to apply mindfulness in the kitchen making mealtimes fun and enjoyable, whether you are cooking for one or many!

Nutritional therapy is key to mental health and well-being.

Our food choices affect the way we think and feel. Every time we choose to prepare a healthy meal with love, we are creating healthy impressions in the mind. This leads to positive mental health and healing of the body, mind and spirit.

1.45pm – Closing Circle – A chance for people to share their experiences with the group which is great for self-development, increasing confidence, bonding and social interaction. Leave the session feeling positive, confident and happy.

Topics included in the workshops: * Energy healing * Power of the mind * Power of intention and positive affirmations * Mindfulness * Introduction to Ayurveda * Discovering your unique mind-body type * Eating for your unique constitution * What are the 3 Gunas, rajas, tamas and sattva * Healing power of herbs and spices * What’s in your garden? * Health benefits of cleansing and detox * Finding balance in your life *

During the course I will be able to share with you my own yoga journey and how by incorporating a daily yoga practice and adopting positive intentions and a healthy diet, I was able to recover from being in chronic pain as a result of a broken back. Also, my daily practice helps me to stay in a positive space so I no longer ride that roller coaster of extreme high and lows.

It is hoped by sharing my personal journey it will help to break down barrier, reduce stigma and foster an open environment for participants to improve their mental and psychological wellbeing.

During the 8 week course participants will begin to understand the importance of developing a positive frame of mind. Positive intentions help us to rewire the brain, altering the chemistry in the body and mind, positively effecting moods and energy levels.

Our groups will be kept small and intimate with only 8 people per group, so that each individual receives maximum personal attention. This will help with increasing participants confidence and enable a safe environment to be created to enable the nurturing of open and positive relationships within the group.

“Mindful Monday’s for me has been everything that I never knew I needed. To meet each week with like-minded individuals for yoga, meditation, healthy cooking classes, eating the healthy food we’ve cooked together and an overall chat about how the week passed has been for each individual is something to look forward to.

It nourishes the heart and soul, educates us on a deeper level in order to help us grow as individuals.

I met sharon 10 months ago, initially for her massage therapies. This was at a time in my life where I had no confidence and was suffering with crippling back pain, due to an accident I had 2 years previous. Along with mentally going through the worst time of my life, battling depression and taking a cocktail of antidepressants & anti anxiety drugs, painkillers, nerve pain blockers, diazepam and sleeping tablets. As I began explaining my physical and mental pain to Sharon during massage, she encouraged me to stay for her yoga classes – which at first I didn’t have the confidence to, so I just had my massages every fortnight for a number of weeks.

Eventually through Sharons reassurance that I’d be able to do the yoga and adapt it in any way if I was struggling with it, along with the fact it would help my back pain and channel my mind to a nicer place than it was, I plucked up the courage to stay one Tuesday night after my massage.

I was welcomed into the group by the lovely ladies and gents, who mentioned they had previously suffered with their backs, I felt like I fit in to the lovely group. This first session was nothing like I had imagined it to be, my preconceived idea of matching spandex clad posers who can wrap their legs around their own heads, while I’m panting in struggle at the back of the class trying not to fart. These people were ‘normal’ no matching spandex etc, and I did really well – not just from what the others fed back to me afterwards, but I felt physically so much better, my back pain had eased from the fantastic stretching, my mind felt free and I couldn’t wait to attend the next session.
I signed up to a 10 class pass and booked out every Tuesday and Thursday evening in my diary so, that I didn’t miss any of Sharons yoga therapy classes.

2 months later I began to ween myself off of my medication, feeling such amazing benefits from everything Sharon taught me and feeling ready to tackle things I’d avoided for so long, 8 weeks after I was off all my medication and feeling better for it.

Mindful Monday’s started soon after that and I can honestly say that it really helped me to realise that I’m not alone in my struggles, having a routine where you honour yourself each morning before you give yourself to work, family, life – whatever that is, you deserve to have that time to yourself, for yourself, and I can guarantee that when you have that routine you’ll start to feel better than you ever imagined.

I’ve met some wonderful people at Heaven on earth: the space, friends for life I’d say.

Words cannot express how Sharon has changed my life, she is an angel who has guided me through the trenches of hell and brought me back to life with light, and for that I will be forever grateful!

Thank you Sharon. Namaste! Holly xx

“The Mindful Mondays course has, for me, been a combination of many things. These include learning new ideas and concepts, a re-awakening of previous knowledge, together with a realisation that all things are possible. This has enabled me to develop more self-awareness and appreciate the importance of dedicating myself to a regular practice of self-love in order to initiate much-needed healing on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.

Throughout the course there has been a wealth of information provided by Sharon in the form of three times weekly e-mails regarding subjects such as chakras, energy work, nutritional food and mindfulness. This material, together with short videos of yoga practices, has helped to transform my negative thoughts and lack of energy into a positive, higher vibration, which I am managing to maintain more and more.

In turn, this has also been invaluable in encouraging me to implement a more structured self-practice into my daily routine. Previously, this has been something that has not always been easy for me to do or maintain. However, the videos, information and support from Sharon are always to hand and serve to inspire me to focus on my goals whilst bringing about positive changes to make these happen.

I would definitely recommend the course to others. It has certainly been beneficial for me to be immersed in the nurturing, safe environment of Heaven on Earth, dedicated to self-healing, increasing my knowledge and gathering tools to assist me on my journey, whilst connecting with some wonderful like-minded people! Namaste!”

Every night before bed, I meditate in darkness/dim light with eyes closed 1 hour right before jumping into the bed. I have incorporated this in my nightly routine, and I do it a bit in the beginning of the meditation, and the ending of the meditation. It helps enter the meditate state faster. Also, when I do it in the ending of meditation, it feels very profound and effective. Also falling asleep faster, which i a surprise to me that it is working. Thank you for this!
